After several days of intense scribbling and staring at the ceiling (a vital part of the process), I'm delighted to report that the first draft is finished. The fifth and final book in the
Borealis series is now ready for the
torrents of gore editing. I'm very happy with how it's turned out. Of course, now is the time that I read through it again and ask myself, "Whose handwriting is this? I can't read this scribbling." And that's how editing begins.
It's currently at 75k words, which makes it the second-largest book in the series. I don't know what you'll do with this information, but I felt like sharing. Also, because I'm me, I'm compiling some
pointless interesting statistics about the series that happen to amuse me. I'll share them later.
